KV No. 2 Jalahalli East is a well established school which was set up in 1983. With a student strength of 1654 and the staff strength at 60, the school is perpetually working towards achieving perfection and on the way breaking and creating many records.

The school aims at providing the best possible learning experience to students. And since schooling is not only about scoring good marks, numerous co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are planned so that holistically developed youngsters can be nurtured. Understanding the needs of the different types of learners- be they visual, auditory or kinesthetic- the teachers plan their lessons accordingly. I am also pleased to share that the school is swiftly moving towards becoming wholly equipped with smart classes. The school also conducts the Awakened Citizen Programme for its students to inculcate the required values in them. Our students are also extremely active in the field of sports with many of them participating at National and SGFI level, with a couple also playing the International Level.

All these facilities and all the help required are provided to the students in order to help them scale the ladder of success. And success not only as it measured by marks, but success in terms of confident, well groomed personalities that emerge as the students step out of the portal of their alma mater to claim their place in the world. In this mission of moulding children into caring, compassionate, understanding individuals, we solicit the help of the parents also. In this modern world, when technology is creating its space in our children’s heart and the virtual world seems more real than the real one, it becomes mandatory that we as parents and teachers, make time for our children and induce them to be more involved in the real world by being there for them at every step and at every moment. This is very important if we have to carry on our legacy of providing the world with living, breathing, feeling citizens who will strive to make the world a better place. For, in my opinion, the ultimate goal of all education we give or receive is touching the world and making it humane with our thoughts, behavior and actions!
